Employers who are required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to post the previous year’s Form 300A must do so by Feb. 1.
Form 300A, a summary of work-related injuries and illnesses, must be displayed in a “conspicuous place or places where notices to employees are customarily posted” by Feb. 1 and stay posted until April 30.
Employers who have 10 or fewer workers, including temporary or part-time employees, or those in certain low-hazard industries are exempt from the requirement.
Employers also must maintain injury and illness records for five years at their worksites and, if requested, provide copies to current or former employees or their representatives.
Members can contact Adrianne Anglin, CSP, NRCA’s director of safety and risk management, at aanglin@nrca.net or (847) 493-7536 with any questions.
